Book Description

"The Future of America hangs in the balance like a loose tooth. Everything you and I have worked for is being wiped our before our eyes. Our borders, our language, and our culture are under siege." So writes Michael Savage, radio personality and crusader against what he sees as the pervasive evils of liberalism. In this raucous and unapologetic manifesto, Savage illustrates how years of liberal brainwashing - from the media, politicans, and left-wing pundits - have changed the direction of America for the very worst. Each week almost eight million radio listeners across the nation tune in to "The Michael Savage Show." His fearless and passionate assault on liberal thought and politics has many calling him the Paul Revere of our time, addressing everything from illegal immigrants to PETA, from the "Hollywood idiots" to that "international government" that is the United Nations. In his trademark in-your-face style, Savage reinforces patriotism, family, and American values, laying out a plan to once again reclaim our country's identity.

About Michael Savage

By sizling with passion and succinct genius, Michael Savage soared to become the #1 afternoon drive-time host in the San Francisco Bay Area. Now heard on on over 300 radio stations, the syndicated Michael Savage show is breaking records. From WABC in New York City, to KLIF in Dallas, and KXL in Portland Oregon, America is turning into Michael Savage. Fitting no stereotype, he attacks oversized bureaucracies and liberal media bias, but champions the environment and animal rights. Deriving his political views from Plato, Aristotle, and the rugged individualist-affirming literature of earlier times, Savage spikes his delivery with quotes from Plato's Republic, Ralph Waldo Emerson's Self-Reliance, Gibbon's History of Rome, and many other classical works of philosophy. Passionate about science, Michael Savage is highly educated. He holds one master's degree in medical botany, another in medical anthropology, and earned his Ph.D. from University of California at Berkeley in epidemiology and nutrition science. He's also an ardent conservationist and dog owner. He brings all his interests in to play through active debate with his callers, regardless of their political inclinations. Along witht he book The Savage Nation and CD Best of Savage Nation, he is author of the book Herbs that Heal and seventeen other books. He spent many years as an ethno-botanist, collecting medicinal plants throughout many islands of the South Pacific. Savage first popularized the phrase "Compassionate Conservative" in 1994 and has since used this concept in his radiop program and in conducting hugely successful conventions bearing that name. Savage has consistently drawn sold-out audiences to hear him live. For Savage, these words describe a "firewall of balance" that limits how far ot th eright his opinions go. "I want to elevate the dialogue, if I can, to some level that's civil," he says. "People are real pent-up. They've been silenced for a long time. My show offers them an outlet, while standing up to the Red-Diaper-Doper-Babies (RDDB) who rule the illiberal establishment."

"If you think the government owes you an entitlement, you wind up hating the world. Then you think everyone owes you a living, and so you walk around with your hand out. When you don't get what you want, you wind up believing everyone is your enemy... And you know what else you end up with? A big fat zero in life." - Michael Savage - entitlement

"As I've said, one dirty bomb can ruin your whole day." - Michael Savage - dirty bomb
